Figma is hiringUX Writer
Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. Whether it’s consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come make with us!
We’re looking for an experienced UX writer/content designer to lend a human touch to our billing and admin features.
You’ll join 7 kind-hearted word nerds on the UX writing team and work closely with people all across the company. You’ll shape strategy alongside PMs, design alongside designers, and solve enterprise-grade mysteries with some of the best researchers and data scientists on the planet. Along the way, you’ll help define Figma’s voice, and create resources that make everyone at Figma a better writer.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States or Canada.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Make Figma more useful for our largest customers, and ensure our pricing model is intuitive and clear
- Captain all language around admin and billing features
- Participate in critiques, sharing your work and giving feedback on visual and interaction design
- Craft UX copy guidelines and improve the UX writing team’s processes
- Build a strong culture of writing at Figma
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- Experience working on admin or billing features
- 5+ years experience writing interface copy (settings, menus, tooltips, dialogs, etc.)
- Examples of partnering with internal teams to solve a complex business problem
- A track record of going beyond words to shape interaction design and overall UX
- Samples of admin or billing work you can share with us
It’s an added plus if you…
- Have worked on pricing models or seat management
- Can articulate big ideas in small spaces, and explain complex writing decisions clearly
- Are proactive and independent
- Enjoy moving quickly, while also sweating the right details
