Amartha is hiring UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder vision & expectations into design vision and interfaces.
• Define design requirements for large to mega design builds.
• Conducting competitive analysis of existing products in the marketplace to identify opportunities for improvement
• Creating user interface designs for Amartha products, including the development of prototypes for testing with users.
• Conducting usability studies to identify areas for improvement in existing products or to test new product concepts.
• Ensuring that designs meet industry standards for usability, durability, and appearance
• Help junior designers to keep them passing our bar (design standard, UI & UX design, visual design).
• Working with Engineering team to ensure that designs can be implemented effectively in code
• Able to manage project timeline and deliver your design on time.

• A strong track record and understanding of visual design (1+ years of experience in the field)
• A portfolio showing & demonstrating your work & craftsmanship
• You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions.
• You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
• You are a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
• Self-starter, someone who takes the initiative, can work without supervision, and conduct projects independently
• Proven experience in all phases of the design process, including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
• Great technical understanding of how to build systems, UI patterns and work smarter around technical limitations
• Experience designing for commonly used device web (desktop & mobile), Android, and IOS
• Experience building/designing SaaS products would be a plus.
• Familiar with collaborative design tools such as Figma, Maze.
