About our client

Our client is a scaling ride-share startup, aimed at supporting underserved communities with safe, convenient access to transportation.

About the role

Working closely with our client's Product and Engineering teams and reporting to their VP of Technology, this position will require you to innovate, build upon, and improve the user experience and design of our client's mobile and web applications. 

Deliverables

    • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience 
    • Brainstorm, research, design, prototype, and test UX/UI solutions
    • Create prototypes, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
    • Design UI mockups that clearly illustrate how products and features would look and function, including high-fidelity mockups
    • Prepare and present design ideas and prototypes to internal teams and key stakeholders
    • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
    • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

About you

    • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, and user research-driven design for B2B enterprise software or SaaS products
    • A portfolio showcasing a variety of projects that demonstrate expertise in UI/UX and brand identity design
    • Proficient in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe
    • Extensive expertise in product interface design (UI/XD) and brand identity
    • A strong command of visual elements such as typography, color, and layout
    • Experience with user research and testing, incorporating feedback into design iterations
    • Proficiency in designing beyond digital interfaces, including the creation of well-organized Figma files, pixel-perfect components, and compelling presentations
    • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
    • Basic understanding of front-end tech: HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
    • Up-to-date knowledge of UX/UI industry trends, tools, and technologies
