Job Summary

At Prove, Product Design is a new, prioritized, and fast-growing practice within our Developer Experience team. The UX Designer will take a critical and important role in improving developer and end user experiences as they leverage Prove products. Responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic and experience elements and building navigation components in close collaboration with your product team. You will create both functional and appealing features that make our identity solutions easier for developers to integrate to drive product adoption and client retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the product managers and engineers. 
  • Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and site maps. 
  • Design graphic user interface elements utilizing industry leading component libraries and themes (Material UI, Prime, Tailwind etc.) 
  • Understand product specifications and user psychology. 
  • Works with API inputs and outputs for better clarity of purpose 
  • Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback. 
  • Create personas through user research and data. 
  • Define the interaction model and evaluate its success. 
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs.  
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g., usability, findability)  
  • Work with product team to implement attractive designs.  
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers. 
  • Conduct application reviews with QA and Engineering before production releases. 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a UX Designer, or similar role 
  • Portfolio of design projects  
  • Prior experience with Figma, prototyping, and wireframing
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture 
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript a big plus! 
  • Problem solving aptitude and excellent communication skills
  • Promote, maintain, and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership. 
  • Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training. 
  • Experience in high growth /pre-IPO Technology companies 
  • BS in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience in B2B SaaS API based environments a plus! 
  • Building from the ground up in a start-up environment a plus!

The anticipated salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
