Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our creative team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading and maintaining the design of our website. You will collaborate closely with the creative director, lead web developer, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, create wireframes, and conduct comprehensive research on competitors to ensure our website remains at the forefront of industry standards. 

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of UX principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating seamless user journeys. This candidate will also have the opportunity to work on branding and graphic design projects as needed.

What you’ll do:

  • Live by and champion our values: Accountability, Collaboration, Iteration & Details 
  • Help establish a comprehensive website design, proofing, A/B testing, and QA process.
  • Work closely with the lead web developer, head of growth marketing, head of product marketing and the creative director to audit the site for performance and content improvements.
  • Work alongside the broader creative team to help usher Recharge into the next phase of the brand.
  • Be a close partner to the web team on improving site performance and conversion.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure tidy and organized file management in Figma.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5-7 years of UX experience with a SaaS company.
  • Experience working collaboratively across both a marketing team and the broader org.
  • Expertise in Figma and Adobe programs
  • Thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies
  • A deep understanding of the end to end iterative UX process, including personas, scenarios, wire-framing, and high fidelity visuals
  • Basic understanding of Javascript, HTML, CSS
  • A high attention to detail and enthusiasm for innovative web design
