We are looking for an outstanding Senior Technical Writer focusing on platform UX and content to develop compelling and engaging content for our Cyber Risk Management SaaS platform. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative team with UX designers, Product Managers, and Subject Matter Experts. Your role will involve creating clear, concise, and engaging content to help users navigate complex workflows, simplify intricate concepts, explain risk model outcomes to cybersecurity practitioners, and provide educational content to improve usability for both risk managers and IT security practitioners.

This is a Hybrid position located in one of the following locations: Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Cincinnati.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain clear, consistent, and user-centered writing style guides and standards.
    • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and SMEs to understand user needs, product features, and target audience.
    • Create compelling and informative content for various UI elements, including microcopy, tooltips, error messages, and in-app guidance.
    • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine content.
    • Ensure content aligns with overall product messaging and branding guidelines.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX writing.

Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in technical writing B2B SaaS products.
    • Experience with platform UX and content writing a must.
    • Understanding cybersecurity, risk management, or related industries, preferred.
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand language.
    • Experience writing supporting a multi-lingual platform, preferred.
    • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the role of content in creating a seamless user experience.
    • Proficiency in content management systems, UX tools like Figma, and analytics tools for tracking content performance.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take ownership.
    • You have a proven ability to research and quickly understand unfamiliar technical concepts.
$120,000 - $160,000 a year
Depending on experience.
