Achievers is looking for a UX Researcher who is passionate about creating human-centred products that empower meaningful connections in the workplace. You’ll champion an empathetic approach to research that drives thoughtful user experiences through strategy, collaboration, and discovering user insights that help solve complex problems. We’re looking for a team member who has a contagious drive for learning, acquiring new skills and perspectives, and excels at collaborating and enabling others to do great research. 

What you'll do:

    • Work with product and design teams to help them determine research needs, identify the most appropriate methods, create protocols and plans, generate recruitment screeners, moderate sessions, analyze results, compile reports, and present findings 
    • Identify meaningful insights that fuel improvements to our products and ensure they’re available to all 
    • Facilitate project kickoffs and workshops to ensure the right questions are being asked and the right methods are being used to answer them. 
    • Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative methods 
    • Incorporate a "continuous discovery" approach to informing and guiding product design, development, and strategic direction. 
    • Work cross-functionally with design, product management, data science, content strategy, engineering, and marketing at all levels 
    • Act as a thought leader in research 
    • Advocate for the people who use our products 
    • Contribute to the conversation about best practices around how to build the best software for our users 

What we're looking for:

    • 5+ years conducting research in a SaaS product environment 
    • A deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative UX product design process 
    • Experience dealing with high levels of organizational complexity, working directly with designers, product managers, leaders, and various stakeholders, taking into account business and technical constraints when planning research and making recommendations 
    • Strong workshop and facilitation skillset, knowing which tools and methodologies are best suited to find the right answers at the right time 
    • Clear and compelling presentation skills with proven ability to integrate insights into product design and a user-centered design practice 
    • Experience shaping organizational research and testing processes, and successfully educating and enabling others to be effective in those processes 
    • Adept at using tools such as usertesting.com to gather external research and insights 
    • Experience managing research repositories to house and structure research information and insights 
    • A passion for user research, the user, and a truly collaborative spirit 
    • Ability to self-manage, self-motivate and deal with large amounts of complexity and ambiguity
