Title:

UX Researcher

Job Purpose:

As the sole UX Researcher at Marken, working closely with the UX Architect, you will play a crucial role in understanding our users’ needs, behaviors, and motivations, and will be responsible for defining, leading, and executing all necessary UX research projects. In addition to regularly interfacing with our users - both internal and external - you will work closely with business analysts, and product managers to ensure that our products are intuitive, accessible, and delightful to use. Your ability to empathize with users and collaborate effectively with team members will be essential to your success in this role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research using various methods such as stakeholder interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, etc.
• Analyze and synthesize research findings to generate insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user research into the product development process.
• Create detailed research reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Advocate for the user and ensure their needs are considered in all stages of product development.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX research.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years industry experience in UX research.
• OR Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or Psychology.
• Proficient in multiple UX research methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Object Oriented User Experience (OOUX) is a plus!
• Experience in logistics, healthcare, or clinical trials not required, but a plus!
