Overview:

As a Junior User Experience Researcher for Digital Turbine, you'll play an essential role in supporting the vision to connect every brand and app to the right mobile user, anywhere.  We are expanding our UX Research team to create a best-in-class customer experience across all touchpoints of our mobile products. We have a variety of user facing experiences that we want to continue improving through better understanding of our users.  

You will play an integral role in helping understand our users while working directly with product managers, designers, developers and account managers.  You will work closely with the research team across all products and business units to ensure we have insights about the needs, attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design.  
$57,200 - $85,800 a year
About the role: 

The User Experience Researcher’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Organizing and maintaining a Research Repository and internal blog to ensure all internal stakeholders are informed and have access to insights
Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, sales and product management teams on various research initiatives focused on increasing user engagement as well as strengthening partner relationships. 
Building quantitative and qualitative research studies for various business units. 
Ensuring research is being communicated across the company via various channels
Delivering engaging presentations about the findings to main stakeholders. 
Other duties as assigned

About you:

 
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Information Science, Statistics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree on a year-for-year basis
Experience from an internship, work, or project with research design utilizing various methods including, usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys.
Proven successful experience in the integration of consumer research into a business product design practice
Experience with product usability testing tools such as Lyssna, UserTesting.com, Google Analytics etc. 
Experience with presentation tools such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
Experience with data management tools such as Excel and Google Sheets.
 
Preferred qualifications:

1+ years of UX or product research experience for a B2C site or similar (statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, product usability moderating, experimental design, test method selection, etc.)
Experience integrating qualitative findings with quantitative results to provide learning and recommendations.


Skills & Abilities:
 
Excellent communication skills to be able to relay research methodology concepts and findings to cross-functional partners and leadership teams in a clear, simple, and relatable manner (both written and verbal).
Organized and detail-oriented
Able to multi-task and shift priorities, as required
