About the Role
We are seeking a mid-level UX Designer for a six-month project to redesign a SaaS application cleared as a medical device by the FDA. This role involves conducting comprehensive user research to identify user needs and pain points, followed by designing and testing a new user interface that enhances usability and improves overall user satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of regulatory requirements for software as a medical device (SaMD), ensuring the redesigned interface adheres to compliance standards. This is a fully remote position requiring excellent communication and collaboration skills for iterative testing and design updates based on user feedback.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio demonstrating successful SaaS application projects.
  • Strong expertise in user research methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Proficiency in UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Fundamental understanding of FDA regulatory requirements for SaMD.
  • Experience with iterative design processes and user-centered design principles.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage timelines effectively.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for feedback integration.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project in the medical technology space, driving better outcomes for users and aligning with regulatory standards.
