Lead UI/UX Design

Gamma Networks is actively hiring for an experienced UI/UX designer. Gamma is building the next generation platform for cross-enterprise collaboration on sensitive big data environments. As an early designer in the Product team at Gamma, you will be responsible for owning and delivering designs across the board within the company. If you have experience with design software and wireframe tools, a great portfolio of professional design projects, and a growth mindset constantly learning and pushing your boundaries, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities include:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches) for the website, product, and important business promotions
- Design user interface elements like user dashboards, menus, tabs, widgets and adhere to a consistent style across the product
- Create innovative data visualisations on customer-facing pages
- Prepare and present drafts to key stakeholders and conduct quick iterations based on feedback
- Deliver polished UI designs ready to be handed over to engineering

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio demonstrating both creative thinking and the delivery of solid end to end projects
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc, InVision) and familiarity with visual design fundamentals; colour theory, typography, grid systems, composition
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Startup mindset: ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing a steep learning curve and evolving demands
- Bachelors in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
- Exposure to designing data products (storage, analytics, management) is a huge plus
- HTML/CSS skills to own delivery of static design elements is a huge plus as well
