Description

Wrisk has created a customisable platform that offers an unparalleled blend of technology and customer-centric solutions that empower Auto OEMs to revolutionise their motor insurance offerings. It delivers global solutions personalised for local markets, allowing partners to tailor their insurance products to meet regional needs while maintaining a unified global brand experience.

Setting a new standard for insurance that makes simplicity, transparency and customer ownership the norm, Wrisk believes that insurance today should centre around the consumer because great experiences build customer loyalty.

Authorised by the FCA and the EU, Wrisk acts as a trusted partner to insurers and brands alike, helping them to launch, scale and operate tailor-made, regulated insurance solutions. These are built for multi-product and designed to cross-sell, and evolve in line with the ever-changing needs of consumers. Wrisk’s partners include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover, Crédit Agricole Auto Bank, Mobilize Financial Services Bank, Allianz and Axa.

As a Senior UX Designer, reporting to the Head of Design & UX, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our digital platform and products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment, you will design intuitive, engaging, and scalable insurance solutions for our international partners in the automotive/mobility sector.

We’re looking for someone who can seamlessly navigate both UX and Design disciplines. You’ll be a passionate advocate for agile and lean methodologies and you’ll relentlessly strive for the best possible user experience. As a UX and design coach, you’ll inspire and mentor other areas of the business to be more end-customer-focused, ensuring that the entire experience – beyond just the screens - is thoughtful and delightful. While you may not be an insurance expert when you join Wrisk, we’ll help you get up to speed quickly.

What you'll do:

  • Interaction Design: Create both concrete and abstract representations of design and user flows across a range of fidelities (e.g. sketches, flow diagrams, mockups, prototypes.)
  • UI & Visual Design: Ensure visually appealing and functional user interfaces by mastering visual design principles, including typography, colour theory, grids, iconography, and layout. Deliver designs that align with brand guidelines and elevate overall user satisfaction.
  • UX Strategy: Deep understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices. Define and drive UX strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints. Someone who can frame problems, navigate complexity, and help guide teams to make better decisions.
  • Design Systems: Develop and maintain scalable and token-based design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across all products.
  • Frontend Engineering: Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility, accessibility, and performance-optimized implementation, with the ability to contribute directly to frontend code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React)
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, engineers, insurance specialists and other stakeholders in an agile delivery environment to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while advocating for best practices.
  • Mentorship: Champion the customer experience in everything you do. Guide and mentor the wider team and business, promoting a culture centered around the end customer.
