About

We’re looking for an experienced and talented UX/UI Designer to join our team and help create intuitive and engaging digital experiences. You’ll be the sole UX/UI Designer and work closely with our engineering and business stakeholders to design user-centered solutions that balance business goals with user needs.

What You’ll Do

• Design both the app and one-off charity branded web pages in accordance with brand and accessibility guidelines

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate your design ideas

• Design interfaces that align with our brand guidelines and design system

• Collaborate with business and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle

• Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, grounding them in best practices

• Contribute to, and help maintain, our design system and component library

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for digital products

• Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and problem-solving abilities

• Understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction and visual design

• Experience using data to inform design solutions

• Proficiency in Figma

• Proven experience adhering to or exceeding accessibility guidelines

• Prototyping experience in either Figma or HTML/CSS/JS

• Worked with, and contributed, to an existing design system

• Experience working directly with front and back-end engineers

• Ability to create responsive designs that work across devices and platforms

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical team members

• Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and technical constraints

• Experience working with, and understanding of constraints when working with user-generated content

• Proactive approach to learning

• Experience collaborating with external stakeholders
