Role Overview:
We're looking for a skilled UI Designer to join our team and take ownership of the design system. In this role, you'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving our design system to ensure visual consistency across our products. You'll work closely with the Head of Product Design and collaborate with development, product design, user research and product management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create beautiful and functional UI components and layouts.
  • Own and maintain a Figma-based design system, ensuring scalability and consistency.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Organize and manage Figma libraries
  • Work closely with the Head of Product Design to align on visual direction and priorities.
  • Partner with user research and product design to translate ideas and insights into polished interfaces.

What We're Looking For: 

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, and file organization.
  • Deep understanding of visual design principles
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both designers and developers.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a love for clean, elegant UI

Key Mandatory Skills: 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in UI design, product design, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI design, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, problem-solving abilities, and outcomes achieved.
  • Experience with user research, interviews, product analytics and usability testing.
  • Proficient in designing and prototyping in Figma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Work Schedule and Patterns: 

  • 9-hour shift (8 working hours + 1 hour break)
  • 5 days a week
  • Shift timings: 8 am to 5 pm (BST); 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm IST
  • Office-based role in Bengaluru
