Medixall is expanding its team of smart, passionate, and tremendously creative team. We are seeking an accomplished UX Designer to join the team and help us define, build, and optimize experiences for a new healthcare technology platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner with design and product leader to implement a repeatable, human-centered design process that solves complex problems and creates experiences that customers love

• Develop a strategic research roadmap and prioritize research opportunities that drive actionable insights about our users’ needs, attitudes, behaviors, emotions, pain points and preferences

• Conduct high quality, data driven user research and be able to evaluate, report on, and communicate findings and recommendations.

• Work collaboratively in assessing and defining customer needs and evaluating end user feedback to create overall UX concept and strategy.

• Create exemplary prototypes and experiences, both alone and with other designers and key stakeholders, while balancing user needs, constraints of technology, company brand values, and KPIs

• Inject usability, accessibility, and delight into the user experience of our product

• Help us expand and build our design system

• Provide your expertise in discovering user pain points and problems, and solving them using all available UX methodologies and tools to validate assumptions, test design solutions and fine-tune messaging.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in UX design and influence our understanding of the web, iOS and Android environments, their unique differentiators, and user expectations

• Define design direction through workshops & brainstorming sessions with internal team members and lead Design Sprints to drive innovation, solve usability problems, and build intuitive user experiences

• Champion and effectively communicate design ideas using sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes in a cross-functional team environment

• Create interaction libraries, functional specs, and smart innovative solutions to UI and interaction challenges.

• Ensure that the design vision is executed correctly during the development process

• Provide leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating user experience knowledge and clean visual design sense.

• Build trusting relationships across analytics, design, engineering, marketing and product

• Develop and present documentation, user flows, annotated wireframes, and interactive prototype

ABOUT YOU

• Obsessed about customers, never settling for good enough and inspiring others on the team to do the same

• Should be self-motivated, highly organized, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.

• Over 3 years of startup experience and/or experience working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrable experience in digital design experience with a specific focus on UX and UI design.

• Demonstrable experience in Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma or any equivalent design software

• Proven track record of influencing the product and design strategy

• Strong portfolio of proven, innovative, modern UX and UI design work REQUIRED and should be submitted at the time of application

• Full professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written

The Ideal Candidate

• Has a solid understanding of the interplay between typography, color and motion, and their roles in visual communication

• Has experience with wireframes, storyboards, user flows and other UX methodologies such as Card Sorting, Experience Maps, and various types of Usability Testing

• Understands the specificities of Material and iOS guidelines and is comfortable challenging them when necessary

• Has experience creating, integrating, and advocating Design Systems in the software development context

• Effectively translates complex ideas into a simple language

• Is a self-starter and can manage own time, juggling many projects with changing priorities, with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

• Has a passion for consumer apps and follows new developments in the world of software development

• Experience with working in a dynamic setting, ability to adapt and willingness to learn new concepts

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
