User Research International is seeking a temporary Quantitative UX Researcher to support our client on a project‑based assignment. - Lead survey‑based research from design through launch, including sampling strategy, programming, deployment, and data quality checks.
- Conduct descriptive and advanced statistical analyses using R, SPSS, SAS, or similar tools.
- Apply a variety of survey and measurement techniques, such as tree testing, card sorting, MaxDiff, and conjoint analysis (preferred).
- Perform thematic or pattern‑based analysis on existing datasets—for example, identifying trends in bug reports or customer issues over time.
- Create clear, compelling data visualizations and communicate insights through presentations, dashboards, and written reports.
- Support product, engineering, design, and data science teams by defining and tracking user experience metrics.
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and scope.
- Utilize AI tools to streamline workflows and support data analysis.
- Strong experience in data analysis, data visualization, and storytelling with data.
- 3+ Years of Quant Research Experience
- Proficiency with Qualtrics and survey programming.
- Experience designing, launching, and analyzing surveys in a UX, product, or market research environment.
- Experience conducting thematic or trend analysis on existing datasets.
- Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis tool (R, SPSS, SAS).
- Comfortable using AI tools to support research workflows.
- U.S. residency; availability to work in Pacific Time preferred.
- Experience researching developers, AI, or developer use of AI.
- Background in engineering, computer science, statistics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with Python.
- Background in Human‑Computer Interaction.
