You will be working closely with the Head of Design and a small team of Designers, Product Managers and a large team of Engineers to make all Linktree interfaces a joy for our users. Accessibility is high on our list and we’d like it to be high on yours. We want to work with you to create compelling, future-forging digital experiences that change the way people share, consume and create content.

Where?

Most of our team is based in Melbourne with our office in Collingwood but we are spread across Australia, LA, and Ireland.

We will remain a mixed remote and in-office environment so we are open to this role being based anywhere in Australia with a slight preference for Melbourne so we can see you IRL from time to time.

It would be great if you were able to:

• Use Figma and/or Sketch at the highest level. We’re talking plugins, libraries, components, symbols, automation...all the ‘smarter not harder’ things.
• Work collaboratively with engineers & don’t think of yourself as separate teams
• Visual design is the focus here but you will have solid UX principles behind you
• Come to work loaded with inspiration and enthusiasm for interfaces
• Work with and continue to develop and influence our design system
• Give and take constructive feedback well. Design is a team sport at Linktree

How senior? What backgrounds?

As a guide, around 5 years and above in UI design positions, ideally in cross-functional teams. We have another Senior designer in the team so with the two of you, we’re aiming for our next hires to be junior or mid for you to mentor.
