Senior UI Designer

Nacar is an award-winning Strategic Design Agency based in Barcelona with an agile and international team of over 70 creative professionals. We work with all-size clients from across multiple sectors establishing solutions and product strategies that apply to Industrial, Digital, Brand and Service Design.

We would like to meet senior UI Designers with strong visual design skills, to shape end-to-end experiences for 3D Printing and Digital Manufacturing industry.

You are a system thinker, creative, pragmatic and user-centered designer with excellent communication skills. In previous work experiences you have contributed to the design of clean, accessible and intuitive interfaces. Now you feel ready to take on full responsibility for visual design in a UX/UI design team, supporting the whole design process: driving the design from requirements to pixel perfect implementation.

You will

• Be a part of a highly specialized, trans-Atlantic, UX/UI-design team
• Frame design challenges and plan the road to solutions for great user-experience
• Develop and present design proposals to our client’s experience design directors
• Build prototypes, test, learn, iterate
• Support developers during the implementation of the UI-design.

We expect

• A design degree with specialization in visual/digital design, or a bachelor’s design degree plus an additional program as User Interface Design or equivalent.
• 5 years of professional experience in digital design
• Demonstrable experience with the design of digital products (desktop-, web-, mobile-, and tablet-applications)
• Capacity to recognize, understand and articulate design challenges, and come up with well-sustained solutions.
• Skilled with common visual design tools and with a highly developed sense of user-centered design and attentiveness to detail
• Client centered, pro-active team-player with a high sense of responsibility
• Strong feeling for the aesthetic, appealing and contemporary
• Full working proficiency in English
• Able to live and work legally in Spain.
