CRO stands for conversion rate optimization, and that’s as scientific as it sounds. The team is constantly looking for ideas to make more website visitors buy NordVPN, creating hypotheses, building experiments to test them, and sharing what they found. We’re looking for an experienced UX/UI writer interested in learning conversion copywriting to join our team. You will work closely with CRO managers, web designers, and data analytics to craft conversion-focused web copy that moves people to say yes.
What You Will Do
- Write original, clear, and compelling copy for web experiments and non-experiments;
- Follow a data-first approach to writing copy, with qualitative and quantitative data-driven insights;
- Write persuasively and on-brand;
- Own every stage of the content cycle, from brainstorming to shipping perfect copy;
- Work on multiple projects at once, while prioritizing your tasks and meeting tight deadlines;
- Research and gather additional information to quickly learn a new topic and actively observe our industry and competitors;
- Always be optimizing.
What We Expect
- Someone who can demonstrate a native level of English;
- 2+ years working experience in digital copywriting;
- Proven experience transforming complex technical concepts into ideas and messages that move;
- Ability to switch between writing styles and formats to meet the needs of different audiences;
- Be tech-savvy and comfortable with digital marketing, mobile, UX, and SEO (understanding CRO is a plus);
- You’re a creative problem solver who can work well both independently and within a team;
- Collaborative and open to feedback;
- Bonus: An eye for design and visual communication.
