UX Designer

What You Will Do: 

We seek an experienced User Experience Designer who enjoys working with creatives every day building design systems.  You will report to our Sr Director of Design and work with our Design PGM, Design Managers, and designers, providing design input and contributing and maintaining our design system, Hyperspace. Including working alongside other designers in solving design challenges and providing design solutions for our platform. You will also work closely with research and users to understand our personas and cross-product functions. You will work with developers to ensure execution is 100% as intended.

What We Are Looking for: 

  • Help maintain and curate our robust design system, Hyperspace
  • Collaborate with product designers to ensure superb design, usability, and consistency of platform patterns.
  • Participate in UX activities such as user research, interviews, paper prototyping, and workshops alongside our user researchers.
  • Clearly and effectively present UX solutions to Design Managers and senior staff members.
  • Create UX designs through user testing frameworks, wireframes, and clickable prototypes.
  • Work closely with individual designers on consistency and design pattern development.
  • Work closely with developers to QA, provide direction and reach user-driven solutions.

 

 




Who You Are

Creative and open to critique with the ability to focus on the design challenges of creating software experiences. You are an excellent problem solver and can provide quick solutions to complex design problems for software interactions. You have excellent written and verbal skills that include expressing your ideas to designers and developers.

 

What Makes You Qualified 

  • Portfolio of work demonstrating UX workflows, designs, and prototypes of software
  • Expert with Figma 
  • Familiarity with Principle, InVision, and other prototyping technologies is preferred.
  • Experience building and shipping software
  • Experience working within a design team
  • Experience working with developers
  • Knowledge of design systems such as Styled Components and Material Design
  • Experience with Miro
  • Experience detailing workflows and user journeys
  • Experience solving user stories and scenarios
  • Experience testing user experiences with users using software such as UserZoom
