So, if you’re excited about joining in on this adventure, let's team up and create something amazing! We're looking for an extraordinary UX Researcher to join our growing team. UX Researchers at PlayVS are passionate about bringing the voice of the user to life across all of our products. We aim to understand the people who consume our products and to use those insights to influence product strategy. It's a hands-on, highly collaborative job requiring you to work across our Product, Engineering, and Data teams to communicate insights and provide actionable recommendations.
Here's what you'll get to do:
*Partner with our Product teams to identify research opportunities
*Design and execute qualitative research studies to better understand user behavior
*Generate behavioral insights that influence how Product teams think about both short- and long-term product strategy
*Work with the Data teams to size qualitative insights and to prioritize recommendations based on potential impact
*Effectively communicate product insights and recommendations across all levels of the organization
*Use a variety of qualitative research methods including surveys, interviews, diary studies, and other design thinking methods
Here's what we're looking for:
*2+ years of experience conducting qualitative user research for consumer software products using a variety of qualitative methods
*Some experience working with Data teams to size research insights
*Ability to anticipate research needs and the willingness to take the initiative to address those needs
*Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders across the organization
*Excellent communication and story-telling skills
*Undergraduate degree in a field relating to human behavior such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, or Cognitive Science
