The Position:

UX/UI Designer for Design Systems

Reporting to SVP of Product Management and working very closely with Product Designers, taking care of our current Design System. This role will be responsible for mapping, defining, prototyping & documenting the existing UI components from our product and the new ones, ensuring that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design. Also, the role will provide valuable documentation for Product designers and developers.  


Be a Part Of a Team Where You Will:

-Normalizing, mapping, and defining existing UI components and building blocks (including charts) and the new needed components agreed with Product Designers. 
-Documenting all your approved work to be traceable and self-sustainable to help Product-Designer and
-Developers to create and develop our product. Create prototypes to help with the definition and expected behavior.
-Stay up-to-date with the best practices, design patterns, and anti-patterns throughout various industries and platforms.
-Support the Engineering team in the development of the defined components.  
-Cross-functional collaboration with Product & Engineering to ensure teams are well supported and have what they need to design and develop their features.
-Change management & updates for components and building blocks.
-Help the team to create, follow and maintain the UI patterns & guidelines for the product.
-Work daily with software like; Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Prototyping, wireframing tools, Google suite, among others.
-Participate and contribute to Agile development processes. 


What do you need:

Must-have
-At least 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer.
-At least 2 years of experience iterating on a design system.
-Thinks in terms of design systems and makes rational and logical design decisions based on our users.
-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Google suite, Sketch, and prototyping tools.
-Digital solid knowledge: HTML5 and CSS3, responsive design, multi-platform, browser compatibility.
-Proficient in spoken and written English.

Bonus points
-User-centric, design-thinking, and interaction.
-Previous experience on zeroheight.
