The Position

CallRail is looking for a User Experience Designer for our growing marketing team with a focus on our customer and prospect-facing website, CallRail.com. We are looking for a designer focused on clean and smart design, who loves finding creative solutions to complex marketing problems, with an excitement for creating a beautiful and user-friendly product for our customers.

CallRail is a team of confident self-starters, and that’s the kind of people with whom we work best. Our current group of UX Designers work on cross-functional delivery teams and come together as a core for design collaboration and open peer and stakeholder feedback. As a design team, we are constantly looking for new, creative ways to promote CallRail’s products. On our cross-functional teams, you’ll be supported by a leadership team that has deep product and industry knowledge, product managers who are thoughtful and UX-minded, and a technical team who has experience building successful products.

 

What You'll Do

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that CallRail.com is intuitive, attractive, consistent, and cohesive
  • Design interfaces and interactions for new and existing features
  • Work closely with developers to implement new features
  • Advocate for CallRail.com, constantly seeking to better understand our users’ needs and ideating solutions to serve them
  • Look out for opportunities to make Callrail.com more intuitive and easy to use
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and expand impact of Callrail.com
  • Work with a cross-functional (marketing, design, product, engineering) website team to come up with creative solutions to complex problems

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a UX designer, UI designer, or in a related role
  • A strong sense of design fundamentals, including iconography, typography, color, and data visualization
  • Proficiency in design tools, such as Figma or Sketch. Our team uses Figma
  • Experience working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Prior experience conducting user research and ability to synthesize feedback with data to guide design decisions
  • Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Must be able to clearly articulate and present design concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-moving and changing environment as the team and our product grows
