Senior UI/UX Designer

We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer

Mission-driven, innovative, curious and challenge-seeking individual to join a team of strong technical talent. Guardhat is on a mission to save more lives and has decided to expand their international footprint with its first European Development Center in Vilnius, Lithuania.

As an integral part of the Guardhat Design team, you will help us execute our frontline worker safety technology and build a portfolio of products that improve people’s lives through intuitive user experiences people love to use. As a Senior UX Designer, you will work closely with the Head of Product Design on projects from early concept, user research, competitive marketplace analysis, and UX Design concept exploration, refinement, communication, & documentation. You will be expected to work remotely and cross-functionally with other UX/UI designers, engineers, and stakeholders to help deliver the highest most intuitive human-centric experience. Responsibilities

• Collaborate and run design efforts which will impact all products in the Guardhat portfolio;
• Contribute through your work to Guardhat’s point of view on safety hardware and software interfaces and user experiences;
• Develop flows and product experiences that balance real-world production with industrial design, interaction design, user research, and the Guardhat brand;
• Work collaboratively with a growing team of talented designers, engineers, and project managers from multiple creative and technical disciplines;
• Develop and maintain a Figma style guide/library together with the design team.

• A Bachelor of Arts or Science / Masters in Fine Arts in the field of Industrial or UX Design;
• 5+ years of professional experience in a corporate or consulting design environment;
• Experience in managing UX and supporting the engineering team building the front end;
• Experience in designing, developing, and shipping mobile and desktop product experiences for worldwide markets. A particular focus on industrial user experiences is preferred but not a must;
• Ability to develop a figma styleguide/library together with the design team; high proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite;
• Knowledgeable of rapid prototyping, develop A/B tests;
• Genuine interest in working on multi-channel industrial and user interface design, interaction design and brand in a manner that reinforces Guardhat’s mission to build the IoT platform of choice for human centric applications for frontline workers;
• Flexibility to accommodate working hours with the U.S. and/or India time zones as needed (on occasion).
