About the Role
As ClickTime’s first-ever Senior UX Designer, you’ll own the user experience for the ClickTime product and customer. You’ll deeply understand the needs of our users, advocate for those needs within the organization, and help create product experiences that delight. In addition, you’ll work with internal stakeholders to influence new features, standardize our visual branding across the product, and become a champion of usability and great design. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this is an opportunity to harness your vision and creativity to make your mark on an established SaaS company. 

While our headquarters are based in San Francisco, we are considering candidates throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

    • Own the user experience for the ClickTime user and customer 
    • Develop a system for testing and measuring usability product-wide and for each significant roadmap project
    • Participate in customer engagement activities related to roadmap projects (customer calls, recordings, interviews)
    • Strategize with Product and Engineering to plan sprints and product improvements 
    • Own usability analysis, testing, standards, and recommendations and regularly report on the progress 
    • Develop a style guide to be used in design and engineering

Qualifications

    • 5+ years of digital design experience, Interaction Design; 2+ years guiding design decisions for an organization
    • Proficiency in user research, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
    • Ability to translate user needs into visual assets, with skills in rapid prototyping and visualization
    • Ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data in order to present findings and recommendations
    • Experience in leveraging research and usability testing to inform design decisions 
    • Proficiency with rapid prototyping and visualization tools such as Axure, Sketch, Invision, Adobe CC, and UXPin
    • Proficiency with visual software tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Fireworks
