Our UX Designer role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is not only a master of their craft, but also shares our commitment to driving a strong company culture by putting their heart and soul into their work every day.

Applicants may choose to work remote, or be office-based in Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create mocks and prototypes of design solutions using tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
  • Develop user research plans and discovery timelines, lead user feedback sessions, and document data from sessions to share with stakeholders.
  • Complete usability evaluations at a product suite level and record various quantitative and qualitative data points to drive later decision making.
  • Document and share products’ information architecture; identify opportunities for improvement and communicate the value of those improvements to stakeholders.
  • Own the user experience of items on the product roadmap and work closely with product managers to assist with project scoping, planning, and development feasibility.
  • Champion consistency when implementing interaction patterns throughout Abrigo products.
  • Identify potential areas of improvement in our style guide and pattern library and complete necessary user testing to contribute a better interaction experience for users.
  • Proactively identify usability issues within products and communicate with internal stakeholders and related teams to resolve.
  • Interact regularly with stakeholders and influence stakeholder decisions impacting the team.
  • Contribute to long-term department and company-wide goals by relating UX decisions to roadmap and sales strategy.
  • Communicate concepts, actions, and tone effectively through UX writing by identifying the audience and tailoring language to fit.


What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years working experience in the field of UX/UI design, preferably with agile product development methodologies and enterprise software.
  • A UX design portfolio including items such as wireframes, prototypes, and user testing examples for review as part of the application process.
