Global Client Services promote client centricity in everything we do, and work collaboratively across  the FT Group and with sales teams to create compelling, high performance branded content campaigns, delivered with world class service. 

Part of this department, the Creative Services team deliver exceptionally crafted campaigns with particular attention to efficiency, optimisation of processes, FT brand integrity and internal collaboration.

The role

We are looking for an entry level UI designer supporting the creative team responsible for the delivery of branded content online. 

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be providing an end-to-end service, producing design work within a multidisciplinary delivery team. Your output will range from pre-sale support, working closely with our Commercial Marketing team and Content Directors to mock up pages for sales pitches, to designing web pages under the supervision of our Art Director, Senior Web Developer and Producer.

Day to day, you’ll report into theHead of Creative Services. Your design work will also be supported by our Digital Producer, Senior Web Developer and Art Director.


You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, actively consulting and collaborating with teammates and stakeholders so that your design solutions are commercially aware and technically feasible.


  • Produce UI deliverables such as mood boards, style guides, and mockups

  • Produce creative assets such as icons, illustrations, and imagery

  • Present your deliverables to gather feedback and build consensus

  • Document your solutions for others to implement

  • Collaborate with developers to check and refine coded designs

What we’re looking for

  • Ideally you’re already working in an entry position.

  • Experience of designing for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices

  • Experience in B2B and/or luxury sectors

  • Ability to capture design briefs from clients and colleagues

  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly in writing and face-to-face

  • Ability to give, receive, and respond to constructive feedback

  • Ability to work autonomously or in collaboration with others

  • Ability to adapt your approach for different project constraints
