UX/UI Designer

We are seeking a passionate, and detailed oriented UX/UI Designer to collaborate with our remote team, producing high-value software, mobile & web experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product industry research and formulate recommendations based on client needs & goals
  
• Become fully versed with the assigned projects
  
• Formulate questions, time estimates, and asset requirements for assigned projects
  
• Define user stories
  
• Lead and oversee a project’s entire UX/UI strategy
  
• Execute concept sketches
  
• Develop intuitive project architecture, flowcharts, wireframes and clickable prototypes
  
• Conduct visual design exploration (moodboarding) and formulate visual style recommendations
  
• Create visually appealing mobile & web interface designs, and supporting design systems to be shared across the company or project teams
  
• Collaborate with the development team on a regular basis to ensure the visual design is in-line with the development path
  
• Export project visual assets for integration by the development team
  
• Plan for product animation and interactivity
  
• Responsible for project design documentation and the organization of project art files
  
• Lead design QA reviews
  
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers in providing status updates on assigned work
  
• Stay up do date on assigned Jira ticket assignments, and work time entry
  
  

Requirements

• Proficient with our toolset (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Jira, Slack etc.)
  
• 5+ years of experience with web and mobile app design
  
• Creative, with strong visual design skills for typography, colour and layout
  
• Expert knowledge of UX/UI design principles, with a desire to stay on top of industry trends
  
• A good listener and willingness to understand client needs and motivations
  
• Good analytical skills, with the ability to come up with solutions for complex user interaction problems
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Strong organizational skills
  
• Resourceful and takes initiative
  
• Self-disciplined to focus and work remotely
  
• Team player & communicates well with others
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks, under minimal supervision
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
