Hydrogen is hiring Visual Designer

We are a fast growing company in the enterprise fintech API space that allows developers to build investing, savings, insurance, and wellness applications with ease.

We are looking for a Visual Designer to help us improve our current platform design, work with clients on prototypes and workshops, and work on new product launches.

In this role you will:  

- Create visual designs that effectively communicates brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements and icons  - Build out our Design System to make our design & engineering organizations more efficient and create a cohesive visual language   - Develop creative concepts that translate into intuitive design solutions

Qualifications:  

- 2+ years UI design experience at an agency, tech startup, or similar   - Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storytelling, storyboards, mood boards, prototypes, etc)   - Experience with responsive design and grid based layouts  - Expert knowledge of Sketch, Adobe CC suite, and other industry-standard creative tools.  - Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile, Android and iOS.

Preferred Qualifications:   - Bachelor's degree in design or another creative field preferred   - Experience designing applications that are financial in nature, utilize scalable components, and/or data visualization tools
