About KaiKai

KaiKai is a subsidiary of Cosmose. It is the fastest growing shopping app in Singapore, offers curated secret deals from superbrands. Accessing deals on their mobile that are in their vicinity, users can shop at their convenience in-app and collect in-store.

Marrying mobile shopping with the in-store experience, retailers can now deliver a truly omni-channel experience with KaiKai and report on results that are actually measurable. Our technology and expertise will aid retailers to recover from, and transition their businesses into the post-pandemic world via a data-driven approach.KaiKai is the expert in creating hype and driving traffic to offline stores. We are searching for a Senior UX Researcher to join our team. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play an integral role in the product development team and collaborate with other team members to make key decisions regarding product needs. We value experience in design for both web and mobile environments. In this role, you will be tackling unique analytical problems from all angles, while advocating for the best user experience and continuously improving the look and feel of both internal and external-facing products.

What you'll do

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative mixed methods research e.g. web/app analytics, A/B testing, surveys, etc.
  • Translate research and test findings into digestible deliverables e.g. research reports, experience maps, personas, etc.
  • Act as an important player in shaping our products
  • Work cross-geographically with different teams and users (Cosmose is a global startup with multiple offices around the globe)
  • Participate in a revolution of the approach to online and offline shopping
  • Work with a flat structure and a no-B.S. culture

What you'll need

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in UX research at a relevant product, brand or agency
  • BA/BS in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or other related fields is preferred
  • Ability to measure, analyze, and organize user experience research and analytics
  • Ability to evaluate website and app performance using Google Analytics, Smartlook, Hotjar, and other platforms to draw insights for recommended improvements
  • Ability to wireframe and validate work using the usual tools like Whimsical, Figma, Sketch or similar
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different teams with different skill sets, including Marketing and Product Managers, Engineers and other business stakeholders
  • A strategic and conceptual thinker as well as a tactical and pragmatic practitioner who gets stuff done
  • Know when to uphold design conventions and when to break them

For this job application, a portfolio or samples are required. We would like to see at least three case studies with a thorough analysis of a user experience problem, and a showcase of how you solved it.
