Benivo is seeking a talented and driven Lead Product Designer to join our team. As the leader of your product area, you will be responsible for spearheading Lean UX practices, developing design systems, and providing strong design leadership. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a track record of delivering outstanding product design.

As the Lead Product Designer, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of all aspects of the product design lifecycle, from ideation to delivery and rollout. You should have experience in driving strategy, becoming the go-to expert, and leading cross-functional teams to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Spearhead Lean UX practices, developing design systems, and providing strong design leadership
  • Develop and communicate a compelling product vision
  • Lead ideation and development of new product features
  • Prioritise design initiatives based on impact and strategic alignment
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Lead the development and implementation of design systems, ensuring consistency across products and building scalable solutions that drive efficiency
  • Possess strong skills in UX/UI design, prototyping, and user research
  • Implement Lean UX practices in a fast-paced environment
  • Articulate design solutions to a range of different stakeholders
  • Produce structured, easy-to-digest, detailed documentation at pace
  • Manage complex design projects with limited resources and competing priorities
  • Work with remote development teams
  • Demonstrate excellent organization, time management, and meeting management/facilitating skills

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a tech start-up as a Senior / Lead Product Designer
  • A passionate collaborator, ensuring others have a voice and that teams are on the same page, building strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of all aspects of the product design lifecycle - from ideation, through research to delivery and rollout
  • Strong technical skills/experience in UX/UI design, prototyping, and user research
  • Knowledge of Lean UX practices and the ability to implement them in a fast-paced environment
  • Master level proficiency with Figma, Miro, HotJar and MixPanel
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to articulate design solutions to a range of different stakeholders and turn problems into stories
  • Excellent documentation/written abilities, able to produce structured, easy-to-digest, detailed documentation at pace
  • Proactive and resourceful, able to manage complex design projects with limited resources and competing priorities
  • Agility, able to change directions and switch projects when the job requires it
  • Ability to work with remote development teams
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and meeting management/facilitating skills, including creating a meeting agenda, making sure the meeting runs on time, and ensuring people stay on topic within the meeting
  • Experienced in driving strategy and becoming the go-to expert in design
