Join our dynamic and passionate team as a Senior Product Designer at CertifID, and contribute to creating groundbreaking products that will shape the future of the cyber security and fintech industries.
This person will make their impact by contributing to the overall design strategy, discovery, and research at CertifID. You will work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas. This is a collaborative role and is responsible for applying design thinking and UX best practices to create visually appealing and functional features and/or products alongside the Design Team. You will have a unique opportunity to build a new function to enable growth, efficiency, and scalability and will be key in propelling the company into our next phase of growth.

Product Design Strategy:
- Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitor analysis to identify key user needs, pain points, and design opportunities.
- Translate insights into clear design goals and strategies to enhance the user experience and drive product adoption.
User-Centered Design:
- Apply design thinking principles and UX best practices to create visually appealing and functional products that meet user needs and business goals.
- Creates wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and prototypes and leads design reviews to support projects.
Design System and Quality Assurance:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products and platforms.
- Conduct regular design reviews and audits to maintain a high standard of design quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on our products.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with other designers and participate in design sprints, product related tasks, interact with stakeholders, and execute on critical priorities to progress the product discipline at CertifID.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to ensure a seamless and cohesive product experience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Act as a design advocate and thought leader, effectively communicating design decisions and evangelizing user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
- Take ownership and be accountable of design challenges - some may be loosely defined and some may have strict requirements.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of product design and research experience for a SaaS company, Real Estate, Financial and/or B2B payments space
- Strong understanding in Design Thinking framework and demonstrates design thinking framework in past projects
- Proven experience leading end-to-end product design process
- Strong visual design skills
- Portfolio with product design, brand design and/or case studies of proven experience using broad set of qualitative, mixed methods and user centered research methodologies to support the concept generation, design, and development of products
- Proven experience in creating and facilitating UX research methodologies
- Prior mentorship experience with design peers
- Experience in designing and solving for complex products informed in data and customer insights
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and familiarity with data analytics tools like Mixpanel, GA, HEXStrong communication and storytelling skills
- Consistently challenge your teammates toward groundbreaking strategic, design and creative thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
