As a Senior UX Designer at PTW, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our gaming products. You will lead the UX design process, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create immersive and engaging gameplay experiences. Your deep understanding of gaming mechanics, player psychology, and design principles will be essential in driving the success of our games.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation, ensuring high-quality user experiences for our games.
- Collaborate with product managers, game designers, and developers to define project goals, user requirements, and design strategies.
- Conduct in-depth user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into player behavior, motivations, and pain points.
- Translate user insights into innovative design concepts and create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
- Develop user flows, information architectures, and interaction models that guide the development of intuitive and seamless gameplay experiences.
- Provide strategic guidance on UX best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in the gaming industry to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as interaction design, game design, human-computer interaction, or related disciplines. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a UX Designer in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in designing successful and engaging user experiences for games.
- Extensive experience with user research methodologies, including user testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics-driven insights.
- Expert knowledge of UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software, as well as prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of gaming mechanics, player motivations, and the ability to translate them into exceptional user experiences.
- Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a team of designers.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts, ideas, and rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Passion for gaming and a solid understanding of various gaming platforms, genres, and emerging trends.
