Position Overview:

CaryRx is seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team in reshaping the healthcare experience through cutting-edge design solutions. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive and visually engaging interfaces that enable our users to navigate their healthcare journey seamlessly. Your creative vision and user-centered approach will drive the design of our digital products, enhancing accessibility and efficiency for our diverse user base.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. User-Centric Design:
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deeply understand the needs and pain points of patients, manufacturers, health plans, and other stakeholders.
    • Develop user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to conceptualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
    • Translate insights into intuitive and engaging user interface designs that align with the specific goals of our pharmacy.
  2. Visual Design:
    • Create visually appealing and consistent designs for web and mobile applications, adhering to brand guidelines and design principles.
    • Design user interfaces that balance aesthetics with functionality, focusing on improving user experiences.
  3. Prototyping and Testing:
    • Develop interactive prototypes to visualize and validate design concepts, incorporating user feedback to refine and iterate on designs.
    • Conduct usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities for enhancement in the user experience.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other designers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
    • Communicate design decisions and concepts effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  5. User Research:
    • Conduct user research to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points, using findings to inform design decisions.
  6. Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, applying these insights to enhance design strategies.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a minimum of 3 years in designing web and mobile interfaces.
  • Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or InVision to create interactive and clickable prototypes.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of user interface and user experience design projects.
  • Familiarity with design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience with creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the healthcare or related industry, demonstrating an understanding of healthcare design challenges and user needs.
  • Ability to conduct user interviews, usability testing, and other user research methodologies to inform design decisions.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design, ensuring optimal user experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
  • Experience in designing for accessibility, ensuring that digital products are inclusive and usable for all users.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
