The Job

Onera is hiring a Senior UX Designer with a passion for making a difference in peoples lives by ensuring the professional (clinicians) users experience is centered around the interaction with the patient. As a Senior UX Designer at Onera Health, you will be a critical member of a team dedicated to creating innovative solutions to transform sleep medicine and remote monitoring. You will work closely with product management and engineering to develop effective and impactful user experiences for both clinical and non-clinical environments. Key Responsibilities - What You'll Do

  • Develop user experience design concepts, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes that support product goals and user needs
  • Design user interfaces for web and mobile platforms, including responsive design and native applications
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and clinical staff to identify opportunities to improve the user experience and optimize clinical workflows
  • Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across products and platforms
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gain insights into user needs and behaviors, and incorporate feedback into product designs
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and ensure that our products are on the cutting edge of design and user experience
  • Work closely with clinical partners to (co-) design the overall clinical workflow and ensure the fit of our products in the clinical pathway
  • Monitor clinical partner/customer satisfaction metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop design strategies to enhance the overall partner experience and achieve business objectives

Requirements

Your Profile - What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in user experience (UX) design, including designing for healthcare or medical devices
  • Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
  • A good understanding of mobile platform and web applications development principles
  • Experience with design systems and components
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design solutions for responsive web and mobile applications
  • Knowledge of user research methods and techniques, and experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Good familiarity with clinical workflows and designing user experiences for the healthcare professional market
  • Communicative and collaborative approach with a positive professional team player attitude
