UX/UI Team at THE ICONIC..

Our UX/ UI design team works to continually discover, ideate and learn about a problem and the user it impacts. The team is constantly learning from and evolving a solution, designing iteratively to reach a better, best-in-class user experience with each design. We work in agile cross-functional teams, where every person has a voice and skills which contribute to the development of amazing products that our customers use every day. And, we come together as a design team regularly to collaborate and share ideas.

This means that we have a preference for the App as a channel to reach our customers. This role is at the heart of it all. You will join us at a time where we are at the start of a large initiative  which looks to re-imagine THE ICONIC app and redefine the shopping experience for our customers. 

What success looks like... 

• You are customer focussed and advocate the value of human centred design approaches for product strategy and agile product delivery
• You exercise judgement, openness and flexibility in adapting UX processes to the problem type and project need (e.g. knowing when to use a lean ux process and when to use a more strategic approach).
• You produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• You design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
• You test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
• You enjoy working end-to-end to deliver UX thinking, design and UI prototypes for testing and development from start to finish. 

What we are looking for... 

• 5+ years Android/iOS native app UI experience (required). 
  • Extensive knowledge of Apple HIG and io guidelines. 
  • App design system experience is a must on large scale projects.
  • Experience creating and maintaining/managing a design system
  • Experience documenting components and writing DS guidelines
• Experience in UX (desirable)
• Experience redesigning or modernising an existing app in an incremental approach is an advantage.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Managing workload among multiple tasks and communicating progress with stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management.
