At CourtAvenue, our visual designers create high-quality, thoughtful, and innovative digital experiences that our client’s customers will love.

A Designer, UI is highly strategic, detail-oriented, and multi-skilled, bringing a deep understanding across visual design, user experience, user interface design, branding and even coding. We believe in prototyping early and often. Our focus is on the end-user, conducting multiple rounds of testing to validate our concepts.

Responsibilities:

    • Stay 100% focused on making great digital products
    • Manage multiple design products at a time, prioritizing and project managing your own workload
    • Work iteratively and collaborate with the team on initial concepts, user flows, visual design, and prototypes
    • Build great relationships with all disciplines and teams throughout CourtAvenue, collaborating effectively, and enabling others to complete project goals
    • Share knowledge with the broader team, and actively contribute to the collective growth of the creative team
    • Attention to detail and care for design execution, from concept through delivery
    • Participate in all project phases, from strategy to launch to optimization
    • Be confident and action oriented enough to drive your own work, while also helping direct other visual designers when appropriate

Requirements:

    • 3-5 years design experience
    • 3-5 years of agency experience
    • Portfolio that demonstrates results-driven, detailed, and beautiful design skills (please submit link to online portfolio)
    • Exceptional visual design skills in the interactive realm
    • Familiarity working with and evolving brand guidelines
    • Deep understanding of interactive design systems
    • Expertise in Figma, XD, Sketch
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud—Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
    • Comfort working with Rapid Prototyping
    • Comfort working with Motion Graphics
    • Openness to new ideas and different ways of thinking

Work Environment

    • Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees work in an office environment in the middle of the week and remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
    • Candidates for this position will ideally be located near our office in San Diego, California. Candidates near Irvine or Los Angeles, California, will also be considered.
$70,000 - $80,000 a year
