Position Overview:

As a Junior Visual/UI Designer at Afrodity Designs, you will be integral to creating captivating and user-friendly interfaces for a range of projects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll play a crucial role in the design process, bringing your unique visual perspective to enhance our projects. This role is well-suited for a creative individual with 0-3 years of experience who possesses a strong visual and design sense.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to comprehend project requirements and user needs.
2. Assist in creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate and visualize design concepts.
3. Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
4. Ensure design consistency and alignment with brand guidelines across all projects.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends, design tools, and best practices to elevate the overall design process.
6. Participate in user research and usability testing, integrating feedback to refine and improve designs.
7. Work closely with the development team to seamlessly integrate designs into the final product.
8. Provide support throughout the development lifecycle, addressing design-related challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Interaction Design, or a related field.
2. 0-3 years of experience as a Visual/UI Designer with a compelling portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.
3. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
4. Strong visual and design sense, demonstrated through a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating visually striking designs.
5. Understanding of user-centered design principles and basic usability best practices.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and justify design decisions effectively.
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering aesthetically pleasing designs.
8. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first approaches is advantageous.
10. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a plus. (Optional)
