Urban Intelligence is hiringJunior Product Designer
Description
Urban Intelligence is a property technology business with a passion for creating tech solutions to meet the planning needs of communities in a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable way. Our award-winning, innovative software and services are used by leading organisations in the public and private sectors including Transport for London, The Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC), and dozens of councils across England. We also work closely with charity organisations such as Crisis to bring our expertise to wider social issues such as addressing the housing crisis.
Our vision is to use data and the power of technology to understand communities and plan for a better world. This is a rare opportunity to take a leading role in the generational change of planning. You will help to implement exciting solutions to help meet the Government’s emerging planning reform and digitisation agenda.
Our small team has grown the business from a startup to a profitable company over the last few years and we are looking for talented people to join us in tackling the new challenges as we continue to scale.
What you’ll be doing
As a Junior Product Designer, you will help with end-to-end product development. From getting involved in product strategy workshops and researching users’ needs, through to creating Figma designs and testing them with real users.
You’ll work closely with our Lead Product Designer, Product Manager, and software development team to ensure that your ideas can be effectively turned into a reality that meets our clients’ needs.
We’re a fast growing company and you’ll have the opportunity to move the business forward in whichever way you can. For example, if you’d like to run a workshop, make a video or write an article, we welcome that. We are keen for you to expand your skills with us.
This role will be hybrid based primarily in our Bristol office.
