As a UX Lead, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll tackle complex challenges, streamlining processes to expedite color matching and enhance customer service. Your role will revolve around simplifying workflows and refining administrative tasks to optimize sales and support efforts, ultimately servicing a broader clientele. For those enthralled by the intricacies of color, this position offers the chance to craft seamless end-to-end solutions alongside a dedicated team of designers, researchers, and product developers. As a creative trailblazer within the Enterprise User Experience Team, you'll engage in strategic discussions to ensure customer-centric design decisions, while nurturing UX maturity through coaching and mentorship. Requirements:
- 8+ years of IT and/or Business experience.
- 5+ years of UX experience, including designing usable web interfaces with wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- 3+ years in senior-level UX roles.
- Proficiency in conducting usability research.
- Deep understanding of responsive web design and mobile applications.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing UI models, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications, with clear roles and contributions outlined for each project.
- Familiarity with standard interfaces and user behaviors.
- Hands-on experience gathering and defining business requirements with customers.
- Implementation of user-centered design approaches and methodologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience in visual design with Photoshop preferred.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and creative eye.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business to define website/software requirements and influence product strategy.
- Oversee usability research for insights and advocate for user needs.
- Support UX strategy development and drive UX standards development.
- Provide UI best practices expertise and communicate design concepts effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and research new technologies.
- Develop information architectures and maintain UI consistency.
- Translate business/user needs into solutions and analyze user behavior.
- Adapt in Agile environments and support development teams.
- Mentor UX team and provide input on team growth.
- Schedule client meetings and deliver presentations.
- Manage projects/tasks and excel in collaborative settings.
- Proactively learn new concepts and transform ideas into solutions.
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills and commitment to inclusion/diversity.
