Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our Product team. You will play a critical role in the user experience design of our web and mobile product portfolio, You will be responsible for creating designs to understand user workflows, conducting usability to testing, and staying current on interaction design trends & technology trends. Ideal candidates will have UX design experience for healthcare software and web applications, preferably within B2B SaaS solutions.
Location: Remote – US (Preference to applicants locate in Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Philadelphia, PA); applicants in other remote locations will still be considered
Reports to: Chief Product Officer
As the UI/UX Designer at Trella, you will:
- Collaborate with Product Management team to understand user workflows, inform visual design, ensure UX best practices, and document design specifications
- Ensure designs incorporate accessibility best practices
- Conduct usability research and testing to ensure all designs meet user requirements
- Partner with Development team to communicate design requirements and ensure design standards are being implemented throughout the UI
- Maintain and contribute to our pattern library
- Stay current on interaction design trends & technology trends
- Perform other duties as assigned
This job might be a fit for you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in interaction design, new media design or related design field or relevant years of experience
- Minimum of 5 years of user experience design for software & web applications
- Experience in Healthcare IT/Health Tech industry is required; preferably within B2B SaaS solutioned is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with Mobile application design
- Expertise in best practices for visualizing quantitative information
- Ability to create beautiful, customer-ready high-fidelity mockups quickly in Envision or Figma
- Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of Agile development process
- Experience working directly with customers to understand user workflows and incorporate learnings into product design
- Ability to employ user testing techniques
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices, and ability to incorporate into design specifications
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery and Angular.
- Experience with SCSS or LESS preferred
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs and user flows using current design and prototype tools
- Understanding of modern software development practices
