As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and delivering innovative solutions for our customers. Bridging the gap between user needs and product functionality, you'll ensure our products are visually appealing and user-friendly. This role involves active participation in all stages of the design process, from strategy to final prototype. Collaboration is key, and you'll need to work in a lean, agile, and user-focused environment to achieve the best results.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design high-quality digital products, including mobile apps and software.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Work with the design and product team to create new solutions and improve existing products based on research findings and customer feedback.
- Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to solve complex design problems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to ensure design consistency and quality.
- Act as a representative for Design within cross-functional teams, recommending best practices for holistic and consistent design solutions.
- Deliver high-quality design, effectively communicating design intent to engineers and stakeholders.
- Ensure that designs meet industry standards for usability, durability, and appearance.
Core Competencies and Skills
- Expertise in multiple areas of product design, including research, IA, visuals, prototyping, design validation, etc.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Proficient experience with Figma (design tool) and design systems
- Ability to build and prioritize highly detailed and precise design artifacts (flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, specs, and related documentation).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Robust Visual Design.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on UX/product design experience, with a minimum of 2+ years full-time experience at the Senior level.
- A portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects
- Experience working with a SaaS product.
