About the Position 

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer who will partner with the product team and cross-functional stakeholders to create a consumer-grade experience for our users. You will work on enhancing internal tools and creating customer/partner facing portals to develop logistics products that cater to the needs of the market. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will determine the strategy and where to simplify experiences to develop a streamlined user-journey. Your role will involve deep market research, understanding customer needs, and translating them into UIs. You will be a vocal advocate for the customers, and work on multiple initiatives concurrently.  

 

Essential job functions 

Essential activities include but are not limited to: 

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify market trends, customer pain points, and competitor offerings in the logistics industry. 
  • Analyze market data, customer feedback, user-journey and industry insights to identify new product opportunities and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Iterating UX mocks quickly based on user-studies and feedback.  
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate product requirements into well-defined UIs. 
  • Champion user-centered design culture. Drive creative processes and collaboration with cross-functional partners to propose new ideas and strategies. 
  • Continuously gather customer feedback, market insights, and industry trends to refine and enhance logistics products. 

 

Basic qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree.  
  • 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer, preferably within both startup and complex environments 
  • Experience with UX designs and complex workflows 
  • Experience conducting market research and usability studies, and creating journey maps 
  • Experience working on design tools such as Figma, Omnigraffle etc.   

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience designing customer-facing products. 
  • Experience in driving UX frameworks and architectures in ambiguous environments
