Physicians, the backbone of our healthcare system, have long been burdened by excessive administrative tasks and documentation requirements compounded by EMR regulations resulting in the widespread issue of physician burnout. The toll of spending 10-15 hours per week on these tasks has led to a concerning trend known as the "great resignation of healthcare," with doctors leaving their positions due to overwhelming stress and exhaustion.
Tali AI is dedicated to tackling the issue of physician burnout through the development of a voice-enabled virtual assistant designed specifically for physicians. Our voice enabled AI innovative assistant streamlines their professional lives by significantly minimizing the time spent on documentation and administrative tasks.
Tali AI is growing - and we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to support and lead the design of Tali products, from concept to launch. You will work closely with product managers, the development team, and other key stakeholders to create intuitive and effective user experiences.
Who You Are:
- At least 4 years of deep experience as a Product Designer or UX Researcher, with a portfolio of web and mobile applications.
- The ability to own the end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery.
- A strong portfolio with case studies demonstrating your previous work in design thinking, process, UX/UI and visual design skills.
- Experienced with user research methods, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Understanding of design systems and UI patterns.
- Strong and effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to key stakeholders.
- A strong willingness to give, receive and solicit feedback from other team members to continually raise the bar for quality.
- Familiarity with current design tools such as Figma or equivalent.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery, including information architecture, wireframing, designing mock-ups and prototyping.
- Conduct and analyze user research to inform design decisions, creating personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide product development.
- Create visually compelling interfaces that align with brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
- Develop prototypes to test ideas and gather feedback, iterating on designs based on user testing and feedback.
- Effectively articulate the thinking behind your design decisions to team members and other stakeholders.
- Get feedback through user interviews and testing to surface problems and make informed design decisions .
- Partner with designers and developers to ensure that the implementation and user experience is of high quality for all products shipped.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Promote and practice open communication and contribute to a transparent and collaborative work environment.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience working in a fast-paced growth-stage startup environment
- A Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, HCI, or a related field
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for trying and learning new things
- Experience designing iOS, Android and web applications
