Drop Fake is a dynamic and innovative game development company dedicated to crafting exceptional mobile gaming experiences. We’re looking for a 6-Month Contract UX Writer to help shape the way players interact with our games, ensuring clarity, consistency, and immersion at every touchpoint. ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience as a UX writer, content designer, or similar role in the gaming or tech industry.

• Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to write clear, concise, and engaging in-game content, tutorials, and UI copy.

• Understanding of player psychology, onboarding flows, and in-game communication best practices.

• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, game designers, and developers to create seamless player experiences.

• Ability to simplify complex game mechanics and systems into intuitive, easy-to-understand language.

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong focus on usability and player engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Craft engaging, intuitive, and accessible UX copy for in-game menus, UI elements, tooltips, tutorials, and onboarding flows.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and game designers to refine game text for clarity, consistency, and player comprehension.

• Develop and maintain a consistent tone and voice across all game-related text.

• Write error messages, system prompts, and notifications that enhance the player’s experience.

• Revise and improve UX content based on playtesting and user feedback.

DETAILS: Duration: 6-month contract position.

Work Environment: Fully remote in North America

Compensation: Competitive contract rate, commensurate with experience.
