As a UI/UX Designer you will use your skills and experience to help create exceptional user-centric web applications by producing innovative, high quality solutions for various business applications and tools.
Working closely with the Clients and our product team,, you will work to understand business requirements and apply your knowledge of design principals to propose UI/UX design solutions. You will of course also work with the development team members to assess feasibility and coordinate for designing and implementing solutions.
What you will do
- Design and deliver wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for cybersecurity applications and tools tailored for both technical and non-technical users.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand the unique needs of high-stakes users and incorporate feedback into designs.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and security experts to create interfaces that simplify complex cybersecurity concepts while maintaining user trust.
- Translate technical and security requirements into intuitive, user-friendly designs that prioritize privacy and protection.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across all platforms and products.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in cybersecurity, UX design, and accessibility standards to deliver innovative solutions.
- Present design concepts and solutions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, effectively communicating your vision and rationale.
- Work with the product team & customers to understand business requirements and processes in relation to contextual user behavior for superior design proposals.
- Work closely with development team to gauge the feasibility of proposed designs and ensuring support of business requirements while conforming to proposed Design Standards.
- Present designs for review and positively accept constructive feedback to be able maintain fast-paced design-build cycles.
What you need to be successful
- A bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Figma strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing with sensitive or high-stakes user groups.
- Familiarity with designing for secure and privacy-focused applications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
