Description
We are looking for a talented Digital Product UI/UX Designer to join the Bethel Church Creative Team to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and thoughtful design, possess superior UI/UX skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and prototypes, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Execute design projects intended for websites, HubSpot emails, social media, and other digital mediums.
- Update and maintain web-based products for the organization.
- Collaborate with Creative and Communications teams and web developer to define and implement innovative solutions for digital products direction, visuals and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developer
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user centered design to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Requirements
- Proven UI experience
- Strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and prototypes
- Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping (preferred but not required)
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-centered interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- 2+ years experience or BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
- Experience working in a simplified Agile development process
- 40 hours per week, full time with benefits
