Your Challenge:

As a UX Writer at Makro Pro, you’ll shape intuitive user experiences through thoughtful, user-focused language. This role requires a deep understanding of product design, user behavior, brand voice, and compliance. The UX Writer will collaborate with Product, Creative Design, Campaign Management, and Marketing teams to create content that is clear, consistent, and aligned with business goals—while ensuring it adheres to relevant legal and regulatory guidelines (e.g., OCBP for campaigns and services). This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangkok, reporting to the Senior Digital Content Manager within the Digital Content Team.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, concise, user-friendly copy across Makro Pro application—including buttons, forms, error messages, onboarding flows, and other microcopy in both Thai and English.
• Own and develop content guidelines, tone of voice, and style guides to ensure consistency and compliance across all product touchpoints.
• Collaborate with Product, Research, Creative, Campaign, Marketing, and agency teams to ensure content enhances usability, reflects the brand, and remains consistent throughout the user journey.
• Provide content guidance to stakeholders to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment in all written communication.
• Analyze customer feedback, surveys, and research insights to make data-driven content recommendations.
• Translate complex requirements and user needs into content strategies and actionable plans that support and enhance user journeys.
• Ensure all written content complies with legal, regulatory, and internal standards (e.g., OCBP).
• Report regularly to the Senior Content Manager for strategic alignment and visibility.

• Strong command of both Thai and English with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proven experience writing UX copy, microcopy, or digital content across websites, apps, or e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with both product and marketing content workflows.
• Experience with tools like Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Solid understanding of content strategy, including tone of voice, brand messaging, and design systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with designers, researchers, product managers, and marketing teams.
• Excellent communicator, capable of articulating design value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented with strong project ownership.
• Demonstrates a balance of creative thinking and analytical problem-solving in content and UX decisions.
• Skilled in planning and delivering content throughout the product design lifecycle.
• Background in retail or e-commerce is a plus
