Role Overview

The Senior UX Researcher will play a critical role in shaping the digital experiences for consumers by leading user-centered research initiatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will use your expertise to enhance user journeys, gather actionable insights, and inform strategic business decisions within a fast-paced Start-up environment. This position is ideal for candidates with 2-4 years of hands-on UX research experience and will be a part of the Customer Insights Department working with 6 other researchers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and Execute Research: Conduct end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research, including but not limited to usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographies with quick turnaround times.
  • Improve User Journeys and Personas: Analyze user needs, behaviors, and pain points to optimize digital experiences.
  • Collaboration: Partner with directors, product managers, designers, content, and engineers to integrate research findings into the product development lifecycle.
  • Present Insights: Synthesize and communicate research findings through reports, presentations, and workshops, ensuring stakeholders have a clear understanding of actionable recommendations.
  • Advocate for Users: Promote a user-centered design philosophy across the organization to ensure that user needs and feedback are prioritized.

Requirements

Mandatory Language proficiency: Telugu / Kannada / Tamil. 

Experience: 2-4 years in UX research, ideally within a B2C digital Start-up environment. Experience with large-scale consumer platforms is also valued.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field.

Research Skills: Proficient in mixed-methods research: usability testing, user interviews, surveys, A/B testing, competitor benchmarking, and data analysis.

Use of AI: Should be comfortable in using AI tools in research with a clear understanding of its drawbacks

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for translating research into clear, compelling insights that brings business impact

Stakeholder Management: Comfortable collaborating with, and presenting to, multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.

Tools: Hands-on experience with UX research tools and software (e.g., cold calls, remote testing platforms, survey tools, analytics dashboards, figma).

Business Acumen: Ability to consider and align research with business goals and KPIs.
