Our client, Reda Sullivan, is building a legal document generation platform to help everyday users respond to eviction, collection, and foreclosure complaints—without needing to hire a lawyer. The system automates legal document creation through guided questionnaires, internal legal review, and secure cloud delivery.

We are currently building our beta version and are seeking a Product Designer to help shape the user experience and interface.

About The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and user-centered Product Designer to collaborate on a part-time, contract basis. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and responsive designs that support both:

  • External users (non-technical consumers completing legal forms)
  • Internal users (legal professionals reviewing and editing documents)

This is a focused design sprint (~80 hours total over ~4–5 weeks), ideal for freelancers or designers with flexible availability.

Responsibilities

  • Design wireframes, user flows, and responsive UI for the MVP
  • Turn legal workflows into intuitive, step-by-step user experiences
  • Create dev-ready assets and design system in Figma
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on handoff
  • Ensure accessibility and ease of use for a wide range of users
  • Provide lightweight documentation of key design decisions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design
  • Strong portfolio with examples of web app flows, form design, and responsive layouts
  • Experience designing for platforms with low to medium digital literacy users
  • Excellent skills in Figma (or similar design tools)
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English
  • Bonus: Experience in legal tech, fintech, or public service tools
  • Bonus: Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG)

Benefits

  • Part-Time Contract (~80 hours) from now through mid-September
  • Fully remote
  • Flexible working hours (some EST overlap preferred)
  • Competitive hourly rate
